More Than Fried Chicken...

Hi! If we haven't met yet, we're Dan & Day, the owners of Dan & Day's Burgers & Shakes, and we're so excited to welcome you to Farm House Fried Chicken.

What started as an idea has grown into something truly special. Farm House is about more than serving the highest-quality chicken we can find—it's about creating a place that feels connected to the community we love.

One of the most meaningful parts of our restaurant is the counter where you'll place your order. It's crafted from wood salvaged from the historic Olmsted Oak in Anderson Park, a tree that has long been a symbol of Montclair. At the center of the counter, you'll find a plaque sharing the story of the tree and what it represents to our community.

We're incredibly grateful to Charlie Spademan for his remarkable craftsmanship and artistic talent, and to Bob Silver for his generosity in allowing us to preserve and share this piece of Montclair's history with everyone who walks through our doors.

We hope every visit reminds you that great food has the power to bring people together—and that Farm House is about so much more than just chicken.
